GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

 

The following course credits are needed for graduation from Gospel Light Christian School:

           

                       4 Bible                                                             1 Music

                       4 English                                                         1 Home Econimics (girls only)

                       3 Math (Algebra I)                                          1½  Physical Education

                       3 Social Studies (US, World, Govt./Econ.)    ½  Health

                       3 Science (Physical & Biology)                          8^th Grade equivalency on PSAT

                       1 Speech                                                         Computer competency

 

All students must take at least four classes daily.    

Low academic students may not have early dismissal. 

Total credits needed for graduation are:

 

                       24 units of credit  -- normal

                       22 units of credit  -- low academic

 

Seniors leaving early for work must:

           

            1.  Graduate with a minimum of 24 credits.

                       2.  Take a minimum of four classes daily

3.  Have a regular job, and bring a note from his/her employer.
