Quill & Scroll Society: To become a member of the National Quill and Scroll Society, one must have done superior work in some phase of high school journalism; he or she must be recommended by the advisor of journalistic work in his or her high school and he or she must be approved as being worthy of membership by the Society's executive secretary.
