ENCORE is an award-winning musical ensemble that began at GLCS in 1999. Under the direction of Mrs. Tanya Day, the group performs for chapel services, special events like Homecoming and the World Market, as well as for the NCCSA Fine Arts Competition held each spring. ENCORE has competed at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, performed at the Hanes Mall and Oak Hollow Mall during Christmas, and touched hearts during special revival services in and around our community. They practice three times a week, learning new material and maintaining their voices.
